The Ovation Media and Control Engine (MaCE) is the heart of the OHMS system. It plays and streams all media. It controls all your A/V equipment. It requires no additional software or hardware. It's self maintaining and dead simple to set up and use. When combined with your smartphone and ORCA, it has all the features of a custom solution at a quarter of the price. Comes in three versions: standalone, networked or DVR.

  • Puts control of your AV receiver, display and set-top-box (DirecTV  or cable tuner) at your fingertips using supplied ORCA smartphone app.
  • Plays, backs-up, categorizes and organizes your photo, CD, DVD and Blu-Ray media collection. Automatically grabs posters, cover art and data for your media.
  • Uses discrete graphics for the highest quality video playback.
  • Reference mode movie playback at 23.976fps using precision renderers and decoders.
  • Backs up movies as 'full discs' or 'movie only' (to save space).
  • Outputs uncompressed movie soundtrack formats such as Dolby TrueHD, DTS-MA and DTS-HD and others.
  • Plays the latest 3-D Blu-Ray movies and most common video formats (avi, m2ts, mkv, mp4, wmv).
  • Plays most common music formats (mp3, wav, flac, ape, etc.) including high bitrate content.
  • Streams online content stutter-free.
